CMS for fitness centers across the US
I was asked to redesign certain sections in the CMS for major fitness centers across the US. The goal was to make the calendar view and booking - their two main features - easy to use
Old System Review
The old system was built on the old framework and it was not intuitively clear where to click to get day or monthly view
Decomposition
I went trough all pages and documented all the functions to undestand how can I shape them and in what order, and developed a system architecture
New Bookings design
I chose the design that would be understandable for everyone - Google Calendar - and applied it to the logic and fuctionality of the app. This way user could see the familiar patterns and know what to do intuitively.
Mobile View
I adopted this design for the mobile view for the personal trainers to track their customers and schedule
